Rules of the Road
Please read the following rules carefully.
• The 2026 East Coast Holiday is a social gathering of Porsche 356 enthusiasts. Each participant must be registered for the event and sign the Porsche 356 Registry “ Release of Liability” form during registration.
• During the Registry’s concours, drives, parties and other gatherings, event photographers will be capturing photographs and video for use by the club for articles and promotion of the club to prospective members. We appreciate your understanding that participation in the events will constitute permission for the use of this imagery.
• All drivers are required to have valid drivers license and proof of insurance, card or electronic.
• Participants are highly encouraged to perform a thorough safety check on their vehicles prior to all drives. Checking basics like tires, oil level, battery strap, and brake fluid each morning before you leave will ensure your safety on the road. Fill up before you go.
• Place the 2026 ECH roundel “meatball” decals on both the L & R doors. Place the small sticker with your entrant number on the center of the front windshield.
• Participants must wear their registration badge and required wristbands during all events.
• Recommended routes are provided to give you a better appreciation of the region’s history, minimizing “Interstate” travel as much as possible. THIS IS NOT A RACE – stop and enjoy the sights of this beautiful area.
• Drive responsibly and avoid driving impaired. Use designated drivers, and during ECH organized events, the host team will assist in making arrangements to return a registrant and their vehicle to the resort as needed.
• Follow all posted speed limits.
• During Horse Farm Tours remember to respect the farm and the horses by following any directions from your guide.
• Participants are solely responsible for all damages related to their own motor vehicle incidents.
A note about Bluegrass Roads:
As noted this is a tour and not a race. We will drive the posted speed limits as traffic allows. Roads on these tours are typical of the region. With few exceptions, the roads are two-lane US or KY highways. Some are narrow with no shoulders and steep drop-offs, and they often have large trees growing at the edge of the pavement.
